Celebrate spring at the 2026 Easter Bunny Run on Saturday, April 4 at Cedar Creek Trails in Ruidoso. The 7:00 AM run/walk is open to all ages. Registration is $25. The first 50 participants may receive a free T-shirt, and the first 70 finishers earn a participation medal. Online registration is preferred. Hosted by Ruidoso Parks & Recreation. The 3rd Annual John Ashcraft Memorial Family Trail Run takes place April 25, 2026, at Grindstone Lake. Choose a scenic 5K trail run or a 1 Mile family run starting from the Upper Parking Lot. Open to all ages and abilities. This event is part of the Run Ruidoso 2026 race series.
Celebrate Independence Day with the Run White & Blue 5K on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Part of the Run Ruidoso 2026 race series, this festive street race starts at 10:00 AM from Wingfield Park and winds through Wingfield, Carrizo Canyon, and Grindstone. All ages welcome. The Ruidoso Grindstone Trail Runs return August 22, 2026, to Wingfield Park as one of six races in the 2026 Run Ruidoso Series. The 2nd Annual Ruidoso RunFest takes place September 18–19, 2026, bringing runners and visitors together for a festive weekend in downtown Ruidoso. Events include a Friday night 5K and Kids 1K, plus Saturday’s marathon, half marathon, and road 47K/50K, with live music, food trucks, and a beer garden at Wingfield Park.
