The Village of Ruidoso is excited to announce the 2024 Season Opening of the Ruidoso Public Pool and Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake on May 25, 2024. The pool will open at 11:00 AM and the Wibit at 10:00 AM.
Wibit Water Park:
Location: Grindstone Lake, 111 Wiggins Way, off Resort Drive, Ruidoso
Opening Time: 10:00 a.m.
Daily Operating Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Weekend Operation Only: Starting August 4th (pending staff availability), including Labor Day weekend (September 2nd, the last day).
Day Use Fee: $20 per person. Cards only. No cash.
Municipal Swimming Pool:
Location: 515 Sudderth Drive
Opening Time: 11:00 a.m.
Public Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pool Party Reservations: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Last Day for Public Swimming: August 3rd
Closure: August 4th, after the Pooch Party (11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Fee: $5 per person (includes swimming and slide)
Note: No Pool Party rentals on August 3rd due to Pooch Party preparation.
SUMMER RESERVATIONS SYSTEM:
In an effort to preserve our natural resources and manage visitor capacity, the Village of Ruidoso will require a daily parking fee at Grindstone Lake beginning Saturday, May 25, 2024, through Monday, September 2, 2024, and holiday weekend advance parking reservations throughout the summer. The Grindstone Lake Daily Parking Fee is $10 per vehicle. No reservations are required Monday - Thursday.
