Man and his machine, what an inseparable pair. The Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally brings bike enthusiasts to the mountains in Ruidoso and Mescalero, New Mexico. With a massive trade show, several poker runs, free food and bike judging, there’s plenty to do in celebration of your favorite machine on wheels.
So, which can you do better? Punt, pass or kick? Show us what you have and see if you have what it takes to get to the national finals! The contest, held at White Mountain Sports Complex, is open to boys and girls ages 6-15.
The event is a very challenging 100 mile century ride beginning at an elevation of 6,900 ft and touring through one of the most scenic and challenging cycling routes in New Mexico. Several climbs of 8% are on the route. This is a mountainous route for intermediate to advanced cyclists with 100k and 45 and 20 mile courses also available.

Ruidoso's celebration of the fall season includes a parade through mid-town, an arts and crafts fair, a rod run and car show, and the New Mexico State Open Chili Cook-Off.

Beautifully lit and fantastically festive, the Festival of Lights–Parade of Lights starts at 5:30 pm from the corner of Sudderth and Mechem through Midtown, down to the Chamber of Commerce.
