We are having a youth open gym at the Horton Complex. There will be basketball for kids in the 9th-12th grade on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. Grades 9 -12. Liability waiver to be signed upon arrival.

Join the fun at Ruidoso’s 11th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on November 29, 2025! The final race in the Ruidoso Run Series kicks off at 10 a.m. on the Links Trail. The first 50 runners have the chance to receive a free T-shirt and the first 70 finishers earn a participation medal. In-person registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the White Mountain Recreation Complex.
The popular pop-up ice rink returns to Wingfield Park for the 2025–2026 winter season! Opening November 29, it’s fun for all ages with skating aids for kids. Day Pass $20 with skate rental or $12 with your own skates. Ruidoso residents can enjoy a $20 season pass. Don’t miss this festive winter favorite!
Celebrate the magic of the season at Christmas in the Park! Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with music, ice skating, and holiday fun. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive with Mayor Crawford for the tree lighting around 6 p.m., followed by sleigh rides, photos with Santa, and a chance for kids to receive a free toy from Ruidoso Parks & Recreation.
Beautifully lit and fantastically festive, the Festival of Lights–Parade of Lights starts at 5:30 pm from the corner of Sudderth and Mechem through Midtown, down to the Chamber of Commerce.
