Moon Mountain Disc Golf Course Now Open to the Public

November 5, 2019

The all-new Moon Mountain Disc Golf Course officially opened to the public on Monday, November 4, 2019. The high-alpine, championship-level course features an 18-hole, par 63 at 8072 feet for short pins and 8970 feet for long pins and uses the Score Application for specifics on each hole including distance and PAR.

Become a lifeguard

Ruidoso Parks & Recreation is offering American Red Cross Lifeguard Training for ages 16+ with three session options in March and April 2026. Participants learn water rescue skills, CPR, and first aid while earning lifeguard certification. The $100 course fee is refunded once participants begin working as Village of Ruidoso lifeguards.
