The Village of Ruidoso is proud to welcome IRONMAN® 70.3 Ruidoso on July 12, 2026, marking an exciting milestone for our community and its growing role as a host for world-class endurance events.
Whether you’re racing, volunteering, or cheering from the sidelines, IRONMAN® 70.3 Ruidoso brings a high-energy, festival-style weekend to the heart of the village. Athletes will take on a challenging high-elevation course set against Ruidoso’s scenic mountain landscape, while residents and visitors enjoy the lively atmosphere throughout town.
The race features a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run, winding through mountain terrain and village streets with views of the Sierra Blanca Mountains. Spectators can follow the action while exploring Ruidoso’s walkable Midtown, local dining, outdoor recreation opportunities, and cool summer mountain climate.
Designed as a full weekend experience, IRONMAN® 70.3 Ruidoso welcomes first-time racers, seasoned triathletes, and curious spectators alike. The event builds on Ruidoso’s growing reputation for premier endurance sports—alongside the 2026 XTERRA World Championships—and offers a unique way to experience the community at its most active and vibrant.
