Join Ruidoso Parks & Rec for an unforgettable five-hour adventure beneath the full moon. We’ll provide transportation on one of two handicap-accessible buses (24 seats total) to White Sands National Park—New Mexico’s surreal desert of ivory dunes set against the Organ Mountains. Hike the gentle 0.25-mile path to the outdoor amphitheater, climb the surrounding dunes, and lose yourself in the Milky Way’s brilliance. Don’t forget your camera!

Keep children in sight—dunes and night shadows can disorient little explorers.
We look forward to sharing the magic of White Sands under the full moon—see you there!
