Are you 16 or older and interested in a rewarding summer job or learning lifesaving skills?
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course, offered through the Village of Ruidoso Parks & Recreation Department, prepares participants with the skills and certification needed to work as a professional lifeguard. Training includes water rescue techniques, CPR, first aid, and emergency response.
Training Details
Dates: April 11–12 and April 18–19, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Horton Complex Conference Room
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
The $100 registration fee will be refunded once participants begin working as a Village of Ruidoso lifeguard.
