Are you 16 or older and interested in a rewarding summer job or learning lifesaving skills?
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course, offered through the Village of Ruidoso Parks & Recreation Department, prepares participants with the skills and certification needed to work as a professional lifeguard. Training includes water rescue techniques, CPR, first aid, and emergency response.
Training Details
• Dates: March 21–22 and March 28–29, 2026 (two weekends)
• Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: To Be Determined
• Fee: $100 (includes 5% GGRT tax)
• Age Requirement: 16+

Participants who begin working as a Village of Ruidoso lifeguard will have the $100 registration fee refunded.
