Ruidoso Grindstone Trail runs (4M; 8.5M & 13.8M)

Enjoy the Ruidoso Grindstone Trail system with three different trail running distances: Half Marathon, 8.5 Miler, and 4 Miler. Start and finish at Wingfield Park in Midtown Ruidoso. Great scenery, fantastic volunteer support, legendary Ruidoso carved bears awards for top finishers. This is the fifth of six races in the Run Ruidoso 2024 series and a fundraiser for the Ski Apache Adaptive Sports nonprofit organization.

Park Location

This park is located at 300 Center Street near the Midtown Shopping District.

Park Hours

 This park is open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk. No overnight parking is allowed without a permit.

 

Park Fees

Park use is free based upon a first come first use basis, park amenities can be reserved for a fee.

A Special Event Permit is required for Community Events.  Please submit the Special Event Application to the Parks and Recreation Department. Call 575-257-5030 for additional information or assistance.

  • 4 Hours+/Full Day $75 - $150

  • Prices range is based on type of event. Security deposit may also be required.
