Come out and join Ruidoso Parks and Rec for the First Annual Bunny Run at Cedar Creek. You are welcome to run / walk with an Easter Costume. We'll have Medals for the "Top 3" Finishers in each division. The Village of Ruidoso, Parks & Recreation Easter Egg Hunt will be right after the Run at 10:00AM. Registration fee: $15. Support High Mountain Youth Project's Drop-In Center for at Risk High School Kids by entering a team in the Bed Race! Catch the Parade through Midtown beginning at 9:00 am Saturday morning. Then, watch as the teams race their beds back to Zipline Park for a Chile Cookoff. Following the race there will be activities at the park! All proceeds benefit the High Mountain Youth Project.
Break out the small rods and reels for young anglers to tests their skills. Grindstone Lake in Ruidoso will be teeming with activity the morning of June 15, 2019, as children line the shore to try out their casting arms.
Lace up those running shoes and get those buns in gear for the 37th Schlotzsky’s Bun Run! The Bun Run is the perfect race for casual runners and serious racers! And don’t forget the kids and pets! Kids are welcome to sign up for the 5K, but if they aren’t quite ready they can run the kids only 1K!
In memory of Yank Kannady, we are hosting the 3rd Annual Organ donor Awareness Run. This year we will have a 10K, 5K and 1 mile run. The run will be directed by Race Adventures Unlimited. It will start at the White Mountain Park complex. All proceeds go to help us continue to raise awareness about organ donation and register new donors.
Ruidoso Pickleball Club will be hosting a Super Senior International Pickleball Association (SSIPA) Tournament on August 22 - 25, 2019 at the White Mountain Sports Complex Tennis Courts starting at 8:00 am each day. Anyone that is 60+ years of age is welcome to enter. Everyone is welcome to watch.
Join us for this family-friendly annual event benefiting the Lincoln County Food Bank. This event begins in the parking lot between the dog park and the tennis courts at the White Mountain Sports Complex and completes one time around the Links Walking Trail.
Showcase your fitness through a dribbling, shooting, and rebounding skills competition in the sport of basketball. This program is free for all participants and organizations. Boys and girls, ages 13 and younger, compete separately in two different age groups: 11U and 13U. The event location is the Horton Gymnasium.
The Ruidoso Toss No Mas Community Clean Up will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Wingfield Park Pavilion from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Registration begins at 12 pm. For 49 years, the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Association has hosted riders and enthusiasts in Ruidoso, NM for the Golden Aspen (Est. 1969) and AspenCash (Est. 1997) motorcycle rallies. In 2018, the father-son team of Humberto and Blayne Maldonado, both long-time Ruidoso residents and rally participants and supporters, have taken over the association from former owners Ron and Jill Andrews.

The event is a very challenging 100 mile century ride beginning at an elevation of 6,900 ft and touring through one of the most scenic and challenging cycling routes in New Mexico. Several climbs of 8% are on the route. This is a mountainous route for intermediate to advanced cyclists with 100k and 45 and 20 mile courses also available.
Bring your pooch to the pool for some doggie paddle fun! The Ruidoso Municipal Pool closes for the summer with a fun-filled Dog Days of Summer Pooch Party and Donation Event for the Ruidoso Humane Society. Swimming is exclusively for dogs and their owners.
